About: I am the Payroll Manager in an Independent School. Outside of netball my biggest passion of all is Everton, I go everywhere with them Home & Away and I absolutely love it. I love to travel, and love to plan my next adventures. I am happily single, currently with no children, but maybe one day!
Why I joined Crusaders?
Netball for me, has always been my saviour, no matter what kind of day or week I’m having, I go to play netball & I can leave everything else behind.
Ash & myself already played together in the Simple Netball social league, so when she was talking about starting a new team to play in the Liverpool League, I thought why not, more netball!
We had an absolute amazing first season in Liverpool League, and the rest is history. The growth of this club has been monumental, and it’s all down to the hard work & commitment of Ash & her fellow coaches.
I have struggled with my mental health for most of my adult life, but in Crusaders I not only have team mates, I have friends, a support system, people who believe in me when I don’t believe in myself.
Even when I don’t feel able to play a game or attend a social event, there’s always someone checking on me, encouraging me back, and welcoming me with open arms.
Crusaders is more than a netball club.
