About: I am a European marketing manager for a medical company and have worked in orthopaedics for the last 9 years. In my spare time I play netball, coach netball and umpire netball! When I am not consumed by netball, I like to spend time with my fur baby Poppy and my boyfriend James. People often describe me as a multitasker juggling lots of different projects at the same time, but netball is by far my favourite, and I have met my best friends through netball. I’ve never looked back since I started playing again 7 years ago!
Why I joined Crusaders?
When the COVID pandemic hit, we were unable to train and play together as a team but that didn’t stop us. We began a comprehensive virtual program offering our members multiple fitness classes and social events each week. We were together even when we were apart.
We shared our activities on social media and were inundated with requests to join the team. It was then we decided to build our team into a club.
I am proud to say that today Crusaders is made up of 4 amazing teams led by 4 incredible coaches. We are more than a netball club; we are a family. Every single Crusaders member is a successful, empowered, and inspirational woman. The support they bring to each other on and off the court is to be admired.
